What is Stamped and Colored Concrete?
Stamped concrete is a process that takes ordinary concrete and gives it the appearance of stone, brick, cobblestone, slate and a variety of other materials.
Step #1- The concrete is colored and finished
Step #2 - A release agent is applied. Then, mats with the chosen pattern (see Patterns Page) are carefully placed.
Step #3 - The impression is pressed into the wet concrete.
Step #4 - The pattern is removed and you have a beautiful job that is less costly and easier to maintain.
What are the Advantages of Stamped Concrete?
Stamped concrete is more resistant to staining and cracking than ordinary concrete.
Stamped concrete requires less maintenance than alternative patio options such as:
wood decking, brick, cobblestone, pavers and natural slate or stone.
Stamped concrete is more affordable and practical than other paving options. |
